Bute House holds an annual Open Day in the summer term when prospective parents of those eligible to go into the 4+ ballot or to take the 7+ assessment are invited to tour the school, with an enthusiastic guide from Year 6. The date of this will be published here when it is confirmed.

This is a highlight of the school's calendar when all the girls' work is on display and there is an opportunity to see some classes in action.

Governors, current parents and members of staff are also available to meet visitors over coffee in the garden and to answer questions.

Due to the sheer numbers of people hoping for places it is unfortunately not possible to arrange individual visits for all prospective parents. When the child has either been drawn on the ballot or is invited for an interview after an assessment, parents are welcome to come and meet the Head or a senior member of staff.  On that occasion a tour is available.
