Parents are welcome to come into the Lower School on any day from 8.15 to 8.30am if they wish to speak to teachers informally and also for pre-arranged appointments.

Additionally we hold regular open mornings, also at 8.15 am, when we invite parents in for twenty minutes with their daughters to look at a piece of work of which the girls are proud and to see their work displayed around the classroom. We sometimes arrange special days when parents are invited to come and join in an activity in their daughter's classroom and these are always much enjoyed by parents and girls alike. We encourage every parent to support his or her daughter at home by taking her to interesting places, hearing her read and reading to her, encouraging her to help with simple tasks like cooking, laying the table and shopping, all of which activities support mathematical learning as well as encouraging independence.

There are of course regular formal parents' evenings, when parents may speak to their daughter's teacher for a prearranged time, and twice-yearly written reports.
