Taught throughout the school, the girls become skilled in both the safe handling of tools and in using the wide variety of resources available to fulfil their own designs. They cover all aspects of the curriculum, food technology, graphic design, textiles and resistant materials. From Reception, designing and making ceramic egg cups, Year 2 using hacksaws to create marble runs through to Year 6 making bedside lights, all the girls evaluate and discuss their projects so they know how to proceed. Impressive and large scale group projects are undertaken from time to time which generate excitement and enthusiasm throughout the school.
