Bute House is very fortunate to have a team of dedicated and hard-working non-academic staff who offer a variety of support to all the teaching staff and so in turn contribute to the smooth running of the school and the general well-being of the girls.

Bute House offers a very attractive package of benefits to its non academic staff and is a happy and supportive environment in which to work.

The Bursar is responsible for the recruitment, management and welfare of all the non-academic staff.

The non-academic staff comprises of

  • Bursar
  • School Secretary
  • Bursar's Assistant
  • Receptionist
  • Librarian
  • ICT Technician
  • Lunchtime Supervisors
  • Caretakers
  • Catering team

Vacancies, when they arise, are posted in a variety of local and national newspapers as well as at the local job centre.

All employees must promote and safeguard the welfare of children and comply with the Bute House Child Protection Policy. All prospective employees must be prepared to undergo rigorous Child Protection screening procedures.
